The Great Taste Awards are billed as the Oscars by Foodies

One gold star is classed as "close to perfect". Two gold stars "faultless" and three stars "wow, you must taste this!"

The Great Taste Awards are organised each year by the Guild of Fine Food, and this year there were over 9,700 entries. Each category is 'blind tasted' by a panel 16 judges who follow a strict marking criteria. From all of the entries only 125 won coveted Three star Gold Awards - it is a huge achievement to gain such recognition, so we are extremely proud of our consistent achievements.

Of all the UK’s food award schemes, the Great Taste Awards is the most important. Completely independent and uncompromisingly rigorous, it is trusted by retailers, buyers and consumers. Great Taste success is to speciality food and drink what Michelin is to fine dining.
